New trees will provide beauty to our streets and help clean and cool our air and water–providing us with critical public health benefits.
Los árboles nuevos van a embellecer la calle y ayudar a limpiar y refrescar el aire.
PNPP Plantings are family friendly: come learn how to plant a street tree, help grow our urban forest, and meet some other tree supporters!
¡Las Siembra de PNPP son adecuadas para toda la familia–aprenda cómo plantar un árbol de la calle, y conoce a tus compañeros amantes de los árboles!
WHAT TO EXPECT AT A PNPP PLANTING
- When you sign up for a planting, we will email you a couple days before to confirm the meeting time and place.
- We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes, work gloves, and comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirt on.
- Bring your own gardening gloves and tools if you have them. (We will provide tools and clean work gloves but it’s always better to have more!)
- Plantings take place rain or shine, and are only postponed due to severe weather. Cancellations are announced by 3:30 pm the day prior.
INFORMACIÓN SOBRE LAS SIEMBRAS
- La siembra de árboles siguen con lluvia ligera, y solo se pospone debido a tiempo severo. Cancelaciones son anunciadas antes de las 3:30 pm el día anterior.
- Use zapatos con punta cerrada, guantes de trabajo, y ropa cómoda que no le importa ensuciarse un poco.
- Lleva tus propios guantes de jardinería y herramientas (pala, escoba, rastrillo) si los tengas. (Si no, vamos a proveer herramientas y guantes limpios.)
